Bonus would be using them on longer stuff elsewhere depending on the season. Use them for West coast to Hawaii November to April, then eastern US to Europe in the rest of the year. Yes before someone jumps down my throat on widebodies for TATL, Cargo, etc I get it. Just thinking about getting maximum use out of an asset like that. Easy enough to send them on MSP/DTW/JFK-KEF for the summer seasonal stuff. Gets network some various gauge to work with, and we know they like that. Prob could work on stuff like BOS-EDI/LIS where there's less likely to be cargo, and we can send that stuff on the heavies to JFK just down the road.
We could send them to ANC from our new BOS, AUS, or MIA hubs.

Understood, thanks for the explanation.

DTW-KEF would be a perfect use of an XLR. Considering Icelandair is doing it with the MAX.

If the Neo start doing that, it will get a pay raise.

What are the chances of getting hired with 737 type rating (0 hours 121,135)?

it switched to the ER fleet because they were worried about winds and the fleet was heavily underutilized for the past few months. The NEO is plenty capable of doing it out of LAX/SEA in the peak of winter winds. It handles it just fine. Hell the MAX handled it just fine in the winter and burned slightly more and carried slightly less. But flight ops did the wiser move and used a fleet that was sitting doing nothing on a route they knew it could handle.
