New Hire Class Drops
#5271
Not until after class starts, those are the choices from which you put in a preference. Once they see a class's preferences en masse, they decide how many to fill of each. Honestly, I think that's a good thing, as it gives them some flexibility to possibly give you a higher preferecence if you are further down in seniority, and otherise 1 below a 'cut' line.

Yeah that'll be my strategy. Definitely going to try for the 220 if it pops up in the next drop. I'd love to avoid a transcon commute if possible.

What about end of training and ioe? Some people in class in the 3xxx already have ioe on their schedule on some fleets (some the next day almost). I know you can request 48 hrs off, but any idea on average?

I would expect minimal time between your checkride and IOE. I think most new hire fleets have plenty of check airman to cover needs without falling too far behind.
