You don't know anything. We all know about JonNYC leaking stuff, and this forum has trusted sources. You aren't one of them. You're just a reader of said posters that adds in your own over-exuberant takes. I'm all for your positive opinions, but just dont pose as an inside source when you're a line pilot with no behind the scenes info.
I will absolutely take credit for being an optimists while 9/10 of you moaners complain day in and out about “JV this away”, “UA catching up”, “no hiring”.. Despite all of that wasted pessimism we have the orders to arrive at 230 WB aircraft all while being #1 financially and 60% of industry profits in 2025. Again, I absolutely hate people that are this company that are ungrateful and complain about being here. It’s most of the pilot group and I’m sick and tired of it. I refuse to be a pessimist and will continue to obnoxiously promote anything positive Delta appears to be doing.
Best thing I can do is show brand new hires that this is the place to be and we are the best. Hopefully after several years the pessimism is dead.

That will all but happen - in due time. 15 dedicated + 8 common use gates, $250M terminal investment, 2 clubs. I’m moved on from IF AUS320 will happen- that’s a given. With all these WB’s my sights are on AUS787 going trunk destinations (CDG, AMS, LHR, South America, etc).

Never claimed I’m an insider. You clearly don’t pay much attention - I always reference JonNYC. What I hate and despise is people’s pessimism towards Delta and their intl/WB growth ambitions. For two years it’s been clear this would happen and I’ve always said Delta will match or surpass UA regarding this metric the day they agreed to global scope.

Two whole years?! They've been talking about a Renaissance in WB flying since 2013. Excuse the rest of us for not picking up the pom poms for every rumor. Chao

Not trying to hate, and it's obviously not personal. Just slow the hype down a bit, Delta doesn't need you white-knighting for them against the naysayers.

Pardon the interruption, don’t want to start a whole new thread just for this: what’s the total calendar footprint for the full training on the 737? Just ballpark, I know minor variations can happen. Like 6 weeks?
