New Hire Class Drops

That will all but happen - in due time. 15 dedicated + 8 common use gates, $250M terminal investment, 2 clubs. I’m moved on from IF AUS320 will happen- that’s a given. With all these WB’s my sights are on AUS787 going trunk destinations (CDG, AMS, LHR, South America, etc).
No one should listen to you...surprised you havn't been given a time out or banned for trolling

From showing up to first day of your fleet specific training, around or just under a month. It'll be in 2-5 day blocks. Any block of time greater than 48 hours off you get PS home. From what I hear, two weeks in indoc then approximately 10 days off before starting fleet specific training assuming no delay.

The main variation is how many days off you have between indoc and sims, as posted above 10 days is the minimum. It’s likely some people in your class will only have 10 days, but some will have longer. If I remember right its scheduled in order of seniority in your fleet in your class, senior going first.

What’s up guys sorry to go off topic. Was lucky enough to get a meet and greet slot at women in aviation. This is my first time going to any convention so I don’t know what to expect. I ll be at about 2500 Total time and 850 121 TSIC at the time of the meet and greet. I know that is not enough time to get an interview but I want start showing interest. I just want to know what do you guys recommend someone should bring and what to expect. Also any pointers would be much appreciated!!

I did one and I believe it triggered my app pull. You more or less will be asked a couple questions, but most importantly why do you want to work for delta? It’s pretty low threat.. Might not really lead you anywhere, but typically I think they do lead to application reviews and in some occasions, an interview. They will follow up via email.

I have conducted a thought experiment and am now able to release my findings. Ripinpeace is Trip7’s ‘Mr. Goodtime’ account. For a maximum of four hours a day, Trip peels off his Delta uniform and places it in his Samsung home dry cleaning box. The hat is placed reverently on a hat shaper. Much ceremony is involved; the details are quasi-religious. Then the fun begins. Massive quantities of peach schnapps are consumed, and voilà ….. Ripinpeace appears.

I interviewed December 2024 and was hired March 25, last class hired before this year's hiring started back up. I did a meet and greet at PAPA right before I got the assessment invite, and I *think* if they like your vibe they'll pull your application afterwards. My biggest advice: polish your application and be yourself! If the meet and greet goes well they'll probably be looking at your app shortly thereafter. I personally think having an interview prep company review your application is worth its weight in gold, they know all of the weird rules (ie Delta requires you to spell out street names in your address history, "street" not "st", nittanoid stuff like that) and having a second set of trained eyes is a good thing. Best of luck!
