I didn't go back far enough to know if this has already been discussed but is it true that United is hiring something like 200/month at this time and is planning to continue? How can we be so far off that number if that's true?

Imagine being able actually to drop a trip? I know I know its a pipe dream, but one can hope!
At a previous carrier, open time at the first PCS run had to be 80% blue. Yet we have 5 blue days in my category at 0700 on the 20th.
I appreciate the endless Premium opportunity, but I value actually being able to manipulate my schedule and have a life more. This airline runs on premium flying, and Uncle Ed knows it.

it’s because we let them…perhaps in the next PWA we put some more consideration on how we can increase QOL items. Then Ed will learn that increased staffing levels improve operational metrics.
