Class that starts this coming Tuesday has ATL 73 in their drop.

As a NYC73N guy with an ATL AE award, I approve wholeheartedly. Great for them.

Default New Hire Class Drops

Have they been telling new hires what they were awarded on day one or the week before?

Before.

Class that started last week found out the same afternoon they had to submit the preferences.

320 is banging around the Hams and the Villes plenty on 4 legs days. Couple that with reroutes a lot of times you touch Atl now but I guess the powers that be are “promising” that less fatiguing rotations are on the way.

Indoc starts on a Tuesday and goes until Wednesday the following week. After that you get a minimum of 4 days off, but most people get at least a week before coming back to ATL for aircraft specific training. Depending on the fleet, that training is just under a month. For me, indoc to final checkride was exactly a month and a half.
