agreee, my point was when it was boiled down to substance over fluff, a week was more than enough. I did feel my regional indoc was far more focused on how to be an airline pilot, and less on the koolaid (although there was still plenty of that) . And yeah I did feel DALs indoc would have been lacking for anyone new to 121 ops.

They could at least get rid of the "b day" part of indoc. The half day HR spends on making EB out to be the second coming of Jesus was quite cult-y and over the top. You'd think he single-handedly saved the company by how they talk about him.

I really did not need to spend an afternoon watching a parade of flight attendants get teary eyed talking about Delta and EB.

To clarify, I don’t think a decision has been made. These are just the rumors of what they’re considering for hiring efficiency improvements.

My B-day we discussed furloughs! They said we will remember that day forever. YUP, lol.

that’s exactly my thought. Why hire so many and so fast? That’s why am questioning how high the numbers are published on 717 sky hub page.

I'm going on 5 months. According to a flight ops. Publication TOE will be down to one crossing starting July 1st.

That will help for sure. My contention is they need to actually do them. I haven’t seen May crossings being utilized. At least on the ER.

If the standard becomes inconvenient, just lower the standard. Brilliant!
