Is Delta going to run a new class every week next year? How many pilots usually start every month? I’m a October cjo holder who was told “12-14 weeks” until a class date but I don’t see how that’s possible unless they’ve severely slowed down the total number of hires per month and are playing catch up.

Rumor is pool is deep and they are trying to shallow it out. The time from cjo to start date is too long. Currently they have been planning for about 200 newhires a month. Classes start most Tuesdays. Usually, if there is a 5th Tuesday in a month, they don't have a class that week. Of course that can change, but it is how they explained it to me during my time on VA Ave.

Where I really made changes was on the personality test. I almost forced myself to rush! I read the question fully, then quickly went with my immediate gut reaction whether good or bad (I used this same strategy on the MMPI). I did do a few strongly agree/disagree but not very many.

I performed a bit better on multitasking and dots, but actually slightly worse on Sudoku and wing game.

To add to that, my buddy and I who took the assessment both agreed that personality probably weigh the most for the assessment. Careertakeoff has a few of these questions you can practice and there are videos they provide which can help with your thought process. It’s pricey but I was able to pass, it definitely helped me personally. YMMV
I think the end goal is go with your first instinct and answer truthfully. You don’t want to be too far on a specific spectrum…

In case anyone was curious or encounters the same issue in the future with the assessment retake, Pilot Selection responded and it was in fact a mistake and they’re looking into the issue.

Hi,
Odd assessment question
I've read over previous posts on what to expect for the assessment. I was using a couple different prep services for it and there seems to be some extra stuff the prep services added that might not be on the assessment. As I understand the assessment consists of the following:
1. Spatial Orientation - ADF/DG position
2. Reaction Speed - shape matching
3. Deductive logical thinking - Sudoku with shapes,
4. Monitoring - Dot Counting
5. Multi Tasking - Math, repeating shape, and alignment of airplane/runway
6. Complex Control - flying through a tube of obstacles
7. Auditory Comprehension - 18 ATC clearances
8. Personality Test -God help us all
There are a few extra practice ones I've noticed in the prep software but wasn't sure if any of them have been on recent (or any) of the assessments. These include the following
1. Spatial Memory - Like MEMORY game but with quickly flashing symbols
2. Other Spatial orientation - BUT with arrows and choosing direction from previous direction (hard to explain, sorry)
3. Applied numeracy - Word math problems
4. Inductive logical thinking - finding patterns in grids (NOT SUDOKU)
Does anyone know if any of these 4 are on the recent assessment? Are there any other changes?
