I interviewed back in October and got the TBNT. Interview is scheduled again for next month. Can anybody who originally got the TBNT and was hired second time around PM me? Have a few questions, thank you.

Just got the TBNT from the assessment today. Assessment invite came out on Wednesday - took the assessment Thursday and TBNT on Friday morning. For those that have also gotten the TBNT, any advice for the second round of the assessment in 3 months?
Overall: Felt pretty good about the games - took my time and did pretty well. Didn't rush, answered all of them, missed only a couple things. My perception is the personality test got me - I stuck to the slightly agree a lot, only a few moderately agree outside of that. Answered truthfully for the questions - tried to avoid a lot of things that were manipulative in nature. Avoided saying I was creative or liked to think of new solutions (picked more leadership answers when they were compared) but only slightly agree. Maybe that wasn't enough. Not sure what the answer is and can't really give much advice for what does work because it didn't work for me. Hopefully this helps someone else that receives an invite for the assessment. Best of luck! Hopefully I can reapply to my dream job in 3 months and am reconsidered. If there anyone has specific questions for me feel free to DM, happy to answer. Thunderbird22 - any answers you get that may be applicable to others that got the TBNT would you be willing to post them? |

Did you make any changes to your app after the first time, or did you just get a random interview invite? Got a friend waiting since April for a second chance and updates his hours monthly.

Sounds like you tried to game the test too much. I can’t figure out how to bold from my iPhone, but the key is what you said you did. Answer truthfully. Do that without any qualifiers and it may help your score. Lots of earlier posts discuss the theory that it’s only the personality portion that matters. Good luck next time around, there are also a lot of posts in this thread sharing positive second attempts. There are some prep services for the personally portion, but I’d stick with the plan of answering truthfully and not overthinking the questions. YMMV GL
I just find it funny that I’ve taken and passed two other almost identical personality tests with two other major airlines. If this is how Delta wants to operate its first screen then so be it. |

I figure that since I answered the questions as truthfully as I could and didn’t try to game the system Delta and I just aren’t compatible. I probably won’t try again unless I don’t enjoy my life in two years.
