Shape Sudoku. I thought I was doing OK solving around 14 in the 5 minutes in practice. High score is 64? Are you kidding me? That’s less than 5 seconds per puzzle. I’m scared……

Don't sweat it...not sure how anyone could do 64 in 5 minutes. On the actual one, I solved several (3-4) wrong, and still got an invite.

Go figure.

The 30% mortality rate you quote is for people who develop severe symptoms. Most people who get it have no or mild symptoms. In addition it’s a extremly rate disease to catch and highly unlikely in most locations Delta flies. If your not vaccinated you are restricted from flying to yellow fever zones. You are far more likely to get hit by lightening than to catch yellow fever. When the vaccine first came out there was lots of opposition to it. That opposition was actually somewhat correct as there were lots of issues. Far more than with the covid vaccine. Problems were fixed and Yellow fever was virtually eradicated until people quit getting the shot as it was viewed as no threat.

“Yellow fever virus is a mosquito-borne flavivirus that causes yellow fever, an acute infectious disease that occurs in South America and sub-Saharan Africa. Most patients with yellow fever are asymptomatic, but among the 15% who develop severe illness, the case fatality rate is 20%–60%.”

I learned to recognize patterns. I did most puzzles in under 5 seconds. Some of them where I couldn’t see a pattern I probably took no more than 15 seconds to eliminate 2-3 shapes then took an educated guess.

Has anyone had them ask technical questions during the interview?

Interview is resume history review, TMAAT, and scenario questions. Zero technical. All about can you be easy to get along with over the course of a 3 day trip

I got 3 done and flying the line. I believe it's more about getting them right vs number of ones submitted

Treat the assessment like you would running the QRH/Checklist and/or solving a problem. Focus on just getting them correct, don’t get caught up with trying to get as many right as possible. When I got stuck on a problem, I worked it until time ran out or solved it correctly.

That was the strategy I took the second time around and passed.

Would you say you used a different strategy on the personality assessment?
