Default Next Steps?

Hey everyone

I received a top tier email. Less than a month after getting the email I was invited to take the CUT-E/AON. I Studied for a few days then took the Cut-E. I woke up the next morning with an invitation to interview. I was wondering if anyone had in depth details of the next steps when you're at headquarters. What can I expect the process to look like from walking onto the property to leaving. I am doing my interview prep work with a consultant as well as studying aviationinterviews.com but I was more interested in everything else that comes along with being on property.

I'm happy to share my experience with the CUT-E/AON to anyone with questions but it was pretty straight forward. I think I studied way too much for it. As long as you've done a few practice tests just to know what to expect you'll be fine. FWIW I answered the personality test honestly, I think they just look for consistency but nobody REALLY knows.

Thank you!

The process is exactly as described on aviationinterviews.com, not a single surprise.

just letting you know how your post came across.

if you’re coming across that way in writing … imagine how you’re coming across in person. Intentionally or otherwise.

interview prep can help you with this.
Thanks HossHarris, I’ll do some self reflection and look into the prep. There’s usually that one guy in class. And this time it’s me. Oops!

While I agree with the 'what are they hiring for' sentiment, and have done a couple of the two-day interviews you described, I think the consensus is that SOME of the hoops candidates need to jump through are just that, hoops-to-jump-through.

When presented with 1000 applications of similarly (numerically and skills) qualified individuals, how a company chooses to differentiate varies. Some invite you in and throw you in the sim after the meet-and-greet, and some make you jump through a dozen, seemingly unrelated hoops. Those that want the job, jump through the hoops. I know I've jumped through many hoops in my career that made me scratch my head.

Advice to the prospective candidates: jump through the hoops, do your best to nail the bullseye on said hoops. Get your application reviewed by many, many eyes. Micro-check that thing for consistency: every 'I' dotted the same way, every abbreviation and capitalization done the same way throughout.

Get yourself psychologically ready for the interview in whatever way feels right. Listen to all the advice and use what makes sense to you. I know people who used several prep services and felt that every one added to their confidence. Others used prep services and didn't see the value. I also know people who went in with no professional prep and nailed the interview. You have to decide how much you need to be 'ready'.

Is there any software or whatever that mimics the assessment to practice?

Yeah, yeah, I know some dudes are just gonna say "nah dude don't practice just do it" but like parents pay thousands of $$ to a tutor for the SAT, I think I could run a few practice runs of assessment prep in lieu of another video game

Default Current PARB timelines

I have a buddy who got the PARB email, anyone willing to share the current timeline? I saw that a couple months ago they were working about 2-weeks out, but he mentioned the board now meets more often. Thank you!

Airlineassessmentprep.com has a pretty close one. Read back a few pages on here so you are not practicing anything extra.
