I know someone at AA that for the top tier the day after submitting the app and the assessment the following day.

Had a friend at Air Wisconsin that submitted in the evening and got an assessment before I could get a letter of recommendation in for him the next day. Interview invite the next day after the assessment.

When I left my OO for a part 135 gig, i got the assessment very quickly. Seems like the quickest way to DL is to NOT fly DC.

That is interesting. I am currently USAF employed. I wonder if it has anything to do with availability dates?

I don't think availability weighs as heavily as people might think. In my interview group last month, there was me, USAF retirement January 2024, and another USAF retiree in November 2024. I'm sure there's some special formula unknown to most, but it doesn't appear it's solely based on when you can start.

Submitted the assessment earlier this afternoon. Hoping to hear back tomorrow, but I don’t know how fast they get to it on a Friday

Anyone have experience interviewing a second time? How long did you wait, what you did differently, etc?

I just did, and it is a Saturday.

I ended up hearing the next day from the assessment, which was yesterday. Interview invite an hour after that - link showed dates ranging from May 31 all the way into July. I listed preferences starting May 31 chronologically into June and got assigned 6/13.

Is 500 fixed wing turbine a hard requirement? First I heard of it was on airlineapps, I'm at 2k+TT but only 200ish of turbine. I'm not too far off from finishing up the initial training full time commitment in the Air Guard and hoping to get on asap.
