Upgrade times are increasing not decreasing...across most fleets. As we get more staffed and past summer my bet is upgrade times will still be in the minimum of 3-4 year range. Pay rates significantly increased and LC reserve went to 18 hours which is drawing more people <10,000 on the SL to take the upgrade. I'll add the amount of extra work one has to do with less than 3 years or 1000 hours at DL to become a Captain adds to the displeasure of upgrading early here.

I received the Top Tier email Feb 28 and I am still waiting on my AON assessment email. I was able to talk to and confirm with the Delta Pilot Hiring team that the delay was due to my availability date being so far out. I have December of this year as my availability. The folks at the hiring department reassured me that my application is active and that I should hear from them well in advance of my availability date.
