Last night I missed out on a very nice YS on X-day opportunity that would have unscrewed my schedule because the number showed up as "Endeavor Air" instead of the usual numbers they use, and subsequently got silenced. It's sneaky and could potentially burn people, especially those in the 2359 SC window.
I think if I was on short call, they better call me from a Delta number. I don’t work for endeavor. No need to answer that or listen to any voice mail. RG found another way to fail. BZ /s.

- On day 2 at 1300, call in well.

How many pro rata sick hours are deducted from the sick bank?
On reserve, any day that has any “sick” is charged that full day.

*unless, as you mentioned you call “well” before 0600 then that day is not charged.

One other benefit to flying as a REG pilot up to the last day or two of the REG bid period with LC starting immediately in the RES month is to force a 30/168 issue. Slap 3 days of LC following a 5 day REG trip and you’re nearly unusable those 3 days.
Thanks for the tip. I’m putting in for this right now. I’ve got a single stranded LC day on 02JUN after a 5-day reg trip. Im gonna try to move 2 more days adjacent to the single since I’ll need a 30 hr in there.

Might help someone remember the time for calling well and why it matters. (Im sure you know this, but for anyone who does not) The reason for this is because LC is 18 hours notice, so, in theory, calling in before 0600 gives them an opportunity to use you. When we had 12 hour LC, the time was noon.

Actually I asked the union about this, I got a call notifying me of a trip that didn’t come from a number that said Delta. Does not matter, still legal notification (if they leave the appropriate VM from a live scheduler).

Yup, they can call you from whatever phone number they want. Only requirement is that its a recorded line.

Well isn’t that a load of BS. And how am I supposed to know it’s a recorded line?

Ugh… July gonna be scary. I’m sure I’ll be on here screaming about my reserve screw up…again. Last octobers hard no fly day but not a vaca day following daughters wedding was an epic fail.
