Sorry, was more talking the SLI situation. I will say over the last 6 months there has been a dramatic shift in the satisfaction factor of the LCAs I’ve flown with….so they better be doing something for them

What is the SLI situation? I have noticed all fleets have been hiring, but I assumed that was because of all the hiring and recovery.

All fleets are hiring because LCA/SLI are bailing in droves, sick of seeing their peers earn nearly double on GS while they are a slave to a crap schedule.

Why can't LCA's get GS's?

You know the answer here. Severely limited when half their schedules are OE trips.

What does that have to do with anything?

LCA can get GS but their schedule flexibility is more limited than a regular line pilot. Your schedule is essentially locked after a certain day and you're encouraged to volunteer off days to do line checks, off days that in this environment, can easily be GSs.

I'm just started looking for a bigger home in Atlanta and I feel like I jumped into a hornet's nest. Homes in good school zones like Alpharetta, Peachtree City etc are gone within a couple days of listing at prices well above listing price, with many over $1 million. Market is absolutely bonkers as a result of the classic downtown followed by lack of investment which is almost immediately followed by surge in demand. We will experience the same problem with heating bills this weekend and gas prices this summer. $100 oil is coming and it might stay for a while

You, in PTC?!! Lots of lonely housewives down that way. Doesn't PTC have a reputation for being a swinger's club?

Not looking in PTC just giving an example of home sale trends in areas with good schools lol. Alpharetta would be ideal but need a couple years of Greensliping at current prices. Big downside of Atlanta is Georgia overall is one of the worst states in the nation when it comes to schooling and your options in the Atlanta area are rather limited compared to somewhere like DFW

Mkay. But no one else can drop trips anyway due to staffing.

So what makes being a LCA any different?
