They aren’t actually using 23.M.7. They aren’t paying anyone that was skipped. They are just blatantly violating the coverage sequence.

That's what I'm saying. They are not using the ladder outside of 8 hours. They can't do that. So it's illegal and someone should get assignment pay. That said, even when the can use 23M7 they aren't IDing anyone or the correct pilot. This is wage theft.

I would love for there to be a step after GS but before IA that ignores any trigger or golden x day but also honors seniority, and with a leveling mechanism. I've lost GS that I could and want to fly to an incredibly junior IA but was too junior to get any M7 pay.

As a QOL bidder myself, I understand that I lose out on some premium opportunities, it is what it is. I'm all for change and I certainly get the desire to get rid of a trigger. For now, I'd rather seem just follow the contract we currently have.

Since I've been here, there has never been an instance of an actual IA assignment that you're describing.

Pretty short sighted. We haven't actually furloughed anyone since I've been been here, it probably won't happen again. [/s]

Furloughs will happen again.

As will major airline failures.

Plan accordingly.

The "end of history" is a myth.

(Pilots are all about contingency plans. Plan this.)

They are using 23.M.7....they are just using the part that allows them to skip the order of 23.N/O....they just aren't using the part where they pay the harmed pilot.

Default NB Soft Pay

For you NB guys, A or B, what are you averaging for EDP/SIT pay per month?

We have API access to DBMS. ChatGPT can probably write code in an hour that would catch every one of those violations. How is it possible we don't have software monitoring this at the expense of millions to the pilot group?

I assume you're talking about SIT, EDP - if you're talking about credit within the rotation, I don't know. For those EDP/SIT Maybe 5-8% for the month max in addition to my block hours. It's mostly EDP, very little sit pay for me - some trips have no soft time at all.

Yes. EDP/SIT is what I’m looking for as opposed to credit. Thanks for the data point.

EDP SIT CARVE RRPY adds 10ish hours a month to me. Sometimes 5, several other times 15-20. RRPY the biggest contributor but even without that 5-10 hours is normal.
