after the LOA was signed, DAL shut down Narita flying and outsourced almost all of our Pacific flying

Especially if 321s are flying the 8.5 hour stuff out of JFK and BOS. What exactly will the WB then be flying?

Rick Dominguez (Desi) is one of the smartest and honest men I’ve met. He was the Exec Admin for several MEC Chairmen and two ALPA Presidents. He was effectively fired by the NWA faction of the Delta MEC and again when we failed at the BOD, losing our seats at national.

He was (and probably is) a Delta pilot advocate. He wrote much of our current Section 1. He speaks the language and in contrast to other Delta managers who probably have no idea why we want, or need, scope; Desi gets it.

He does not tolerate fools or liars. I have no idea how he views folks on our negotiating committee. I hear he is working well with them. I have a lot of respect for the man’s abilities.
