You all need to get over the "everything has to be a homerun or it sucks" mindset. That just isn't reality.
100% with ya. The work continues after every contract is signed until the next is signed. And then again. Theres no perfect, just good.

I know, i never thought the Delta MEC and Delta would agree to something this important this fast. I'm excited, this could be huge.

Are you for real or are you just trolling me aka Mr. Optimistic?

This fast? They’ve been negotiating global scope, and the MBCBP continuously since precovid. Probably since our opener, actually. Mid 2019.

Right. This isn't a concern for me at all. And in fact can theoretically help the rest of the contract reach a TA.

That said, this AIP will stand or fall on its own merits. I'm suspicious but will give it the best look I can before voting.

I just hope someone smarter than me puts it out in plain English and not legal speak, i tried to read section 1 in the PWA a couple days ago and my eyes went crossed.

just the way some want it. Look at Bucking Bar’s post. Besides the smartest guy in the room narrative, the average pilot tunes out after two sentences and just hopes the union has things under control.

I keep looking at who i replied to, i cant find ur name in there. Who are you?

Just because im not irrationally exuburant like you, doesnt mean I am negative. Thats the problem with the mr. Optmistic types. They need, not want-need, that irrational optimism around them at all times or they explode. Realists look at the good as good, the bad as bad, and try to keep their opinions based on facts. Not choosing facts to fit their opinions.

Generally speaking, contractual terms aren’t able to be written in simple wording or using “lay speak.” Our contract relies on a legal system for enforcement and thus relies on the legal language used in that system. Certain words and phrases can have different implications when put under legal review.

Your request is reasonable but also unrealistic.

I don't think they're asking it to be written in "lay speak", just for someone to explain the legal-eze in plain English once it comes out so we can all understand it. I don't think that's unrealistic at all.
