Full retro is weak hill to choose to die on. The concept is meaningless because its definition is fluid and changes from pilot to pilot. Total value is all that matters.

Wow. You predict less retro than our 2016 contract which was only 11 months late while this one is 3 years late?

I think the company will try to get somewhere close to "making YOU whole" to get your vote. They will also try to mitigate the cost of delaying this contract. I hope you see the difference. We have had a ton of people fall off the seniority list since 2020 and the company hopes to distract you with a shiny coin so you will leave the retirees in the dust. But, make no mistake, they are hoping to only do 3-4 year contracts, every 6-7 years, in an effort to save paying what people are owed.

I hope you don't retire in 2027, 2-3 years post amenable date, while everyone remaining is hoping for a big bump in 2028 in lieu of fair retro to the amenable date.

Oh look. The same dumb conversation is being floated. With people saying it will pass 62-38 without 2 years of retro. My God.

No full retro, they can GTFO.

And the MEC, Chair, Chair-elect, and NC are aware that's not a lunatic fringe take.

The company still gets a free ride for all those years they dragged their feet on all the supposed gains we have coming in scheduling, vacation and other QOL items.

My guess is we get the retro, but the company needs to save face with the BOD / shareholders / other non union work groups and make it look like we aren't getting this huge "raise" when Uncle Sugar was paying the wages.

The 18 months of PSP will be called something else...bonus, one time pay adjustment...something other than "retro"....that way Ed can stand up on TV and say something along the lines of "we only paid retro back to COVID recovery"

Whatever it's called, every pilot that worked even one day since the amenable date needs to be paid for their work!
