You know what grinds my gears....

Anytime I fly with a guy and he forgets to set the MCP to the correct heading, "Hey, did you want 275?" "Oh, yes, thanks." There's no reason to reach up there and mess up his flow, especially since he is the one basically mentally preparing to fly the airplane. Back them up. Ask if that's what they wanted. Just don't reach up and start pressing buttons because that's what you think they want. I know some guys who don't want LNAV selected until they do the navigation briefing because it'll capture and disengage while we sit. Certainly I'll do PM stuff especially if he generously offers to do the walkaround. But when it comes to setting it up to actually navigate, I leave that to the PF.

On the checklist topic, I don't care if the other guy quarters his while he reads it, but if he leaves it quartered when it goes back in the holder and it slides down and gets stuck, that is the issue.

With how maxed out some CAs leave all the volumes you'd think they might have some hearing issues...oh wait.

The amount of captains who leave the hot mic on on the 737 when they leave it is pretty crazy. Also hot mic etiquette in general is lacking at this airline..that really grinds my gears!
