I have an ex wife, but pre-delta so doesn't count.

You have a life outside of work, don't hate other's for their good fortune and seem general happy with your life.

You may have a seat up on the seniority list, but we do not grant you the rank of Senior

Always going to be those guys that live to work and always looking for their next green slip but don’t really have any true meaning in life besides trying to show off all their green slip money.

The last prolonged shutdown --.2018/19 -- lasted 35 days. It would be meaningless for this one to last less than that: Congress critters need to demonstrate to their base how resolved they are. If I recall, the impetus for the last reopening was TSA lines at major airports.

I predict this shutdown will end in a similar fashion.

I guess my question was more along the lines of can we expect to see more NBA seats in the Jan/Feb/Mar AEs? What is the last month of “pre-summer training” AEs?

It was LGA controllers all calling out sick on the same day.

Yes, I would expect so. The Dec & Jan AE’s are likely to be robust (historically the largest of the year), and will train in Feb-April. That said, I would be wary of letting an AE pass you by. There are never any guarantees.

Thanks!

Worst case, I continue to get the schedule I want, chicken/beef/pasta and a nap in the bunk for another year.
