There's absolutely nuance here. They can be frustrated but if you push too hard with this administration, they'll dissolve the union. They really don't have any real leverage

Regardless, an article about Nick Daniel’s in 2025 saying controllers didn’t stop the last shutdown in 2019 doesn’t prove anything except that he’s trying to keep the current admin happy.

Definitely - that was not my point. Like I said - the "Force." For every Luke Skywalker like yourself, there is a Pilot whose life gets taken over by the thought of snagging that next GS - a victim of the Dark side. I have absolutely used GS to improve QOL and work less while making more - you just have to not give in to the pull of "the next GS."

in which way? I don’t see this being a black swan event. It might cause issues for sure. But I think if we limit the term “black swan” to sudden things that cause significant long term damage to the industry, this won’t be close.
