Delta 56 Severe Turbulence

I have a huge problem with it because of their hire date and position, it is all about their ambition. That manifests in many ways and that's usually detrimental to the line pilot. I don't care if they came here to be a manager rather than a pilot but they have to stand out and be noticed in order to climb the rungs.

This is purely an observation on APC. but it seems every other post of his is some sort of “woe is me, the company is at fault, etc”.
Not critiquing, just an observation. If we can see a trend, the CPO 1000% sees it. He's had a shockingly large number of crazy things happen to him here that seem to always be the companies fault.

Now some things, like denying my wife's medication that's in the formulary, after we won on an appeal, just because they can? That I do fully blame our company for.
Making me wait a month for surgical approval because my shoulder isn't broken bad enough for some non MDs opinion? Yep. That's either what the company told them to do, or acceptable behavior from a company selected contractor.
Me complaining about pay being wrong? Yeah. That's the company.
Me not knowing that an ACP is over me in the food chain? My fault.
I was not aware of that being the case, even though the company publication where it is so delineated is accessible to me. And a lot of others are not aware of it either, including guys who have been here 20+ years. That's why I tell people. So many people are not aware of that.
I post the things that happen so that others can learn. Do I do everything right? Hell no. there is a lot of stuff that I could have done better, or handled better either at the time or afterwards. I'm not perfect. And I screw things up. I post what happened so others may learn what happened, how to avoid it or how to handle it better if unavoidable.

I've never been disciplined but every interaction I've had with the CPO was negative. From ACPs fishing around a "not GFB call" but "checking in," to being unavailable due to ATL daily conference call, (WTF) to being an inconvenience when I got off a trip for my father's heart attack, to dealing with state sick for a child's injury, to getting a new badge because it doesn't work in ATL, to parking issues etc. It's a hassle to go into the office and most people have learned to avoid it as much as possible.
