I enjoy CX500T's takes. Sometimes we all go through periods where a lot of "stuff" happens, and it's good to read how others deal with it.

It's Ok, after you're here for longer than 2 decades you'll understand.
Holy cow what a dick thing to say.

Oh wait, I forgot. Nothing before DAL ever counts with you.

Figured I'd trigger you.

Tuning is off though usually your head is exploding much earlier.

Like I said earlier, if some 20 something ACP calls me I'm going to politely disengage and have his boss call me.

Be well.

For guys that want to stay out of the CPO's radar, this is absolutely NOT the way to stay out of the CPO's radar.

And this is why I tell people that ACPs are over the #1 line guy or LCA at Delta. Full stop..

I mistakenly thought ACPs were assistants more for the admin side and didnt have enforcement/ discipline authority. I was wrong.

Learn from my mistake. It's not a "I want to talk to your boss" thing. They are your boss. Even if they are younger than your grandkids and were hired last month.

Polite insubordination is still insubordination.

With this I somewhat agree. I would politely tell any ACP or CP that was starting down a road that may get ugly that they can call my union rep if they have an issue and we can all meet up together.

It’s you always crapping on “Junior” because we “don’t know anything,” even with some of us with a decade or 2 in aviation elsewhere, that makes me just shake my head and say bless your heart.

Wouls love to see how this played out.

What if “his boss” said alright you can come in for a meeting led by your superior, the ACP, and I’ll monitor to ensure you are respecting your superior, the ACP.

lol. Some people aren’t saveable

would you encourage the same behavior from an FO who happens to be older than and/or senior to their CA?
