SS and other premium leveling is a different topic.
If the company was really staffing properly, there'd be no SS, GS, OOBWS, M7, or extra money of any kind. What little open time there was wouldn't make it past WS, and reserves would be called out for random events and pilots on recovery would soak up the rest. Everyone would be flying right at the ALV or less.

Believe me, we've been there, and there would be howls from the crowd here and everyone else who runs around with a bucket catching free money.

In my category the bottom 40% are line holders in October. The most junior reserve is 60% in category. NB category reserve is not bad at all.

It has nothing to do with me. It’s about the industry and thousands of pilots and what’s morally and ethically right as well as what’s ethically right for the customers. That’s probably too much for your intelligence level but you’ll make it .

I once put two trips on swap board, then went to put PD’s in system for fhem. This was before 20th for next month. When I went to put the leave request in, it said I wasn’t working that day. Went back and reallized both trips were gone before I could even put the personal drops in. They were both weekday 2 days.

we can try to get them to play Iron Maiden, Judas Priest , Krokus , Saga, Night Ranger, Journey, Styx , Metallica, Asia, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Rush, Triumph, Van Halen, Genesis, Europe, Kansas, Boston, Uncle Ted Nugent, Pink Floyd, Loverboy, Jefferson Starship, Greatful Dead, Outlaws , Molly Hatchet and .38 Special if you want .

Seems more like junior pilots wanting to dilute seniority even more than it is already. Something everyone wants...until they're senior lol.

Shorter trips are always much easier to lose on the swap board. Even good 3 days will go quick. I don't even bother putting in PDs until the 19th.

I wouldn’t negotiate any type of travel benefits. Not worth wasting our capital on rest of company employees. I think 23.M.7 and IA’s need addressed. We have too many pilots getting nothing that should have flown a premium trip if PWA was followed. It’s a company manufactured problem, but it’s still a problem. I wouldn’t touch sick leave other than getting rid of GFB. That’s about all I’m willing to admit publicly.

I am with you on the travel benefits and scheduling issues

I also think it is dumb so many people want to waste negotiating capital on meals- Left seat people all make 350k at minimum and are worried abour something the company doesn't even spend 10 dollars on.....and the tendies are still going to pick through all the best options anyways without negotiation.

I agree with you. I stopped caring about meals. Truthfully, our meals policy should be that we get whatever first class gets. Just match us to first class and I’m good.

These are low cost items that don’t really matter.

One simple fix would be to add language that we get to reserve our meal choice from available first class meals before departure.
