It's going to be predominantly pacific stuff, it may operate on the denser Europe routes as well. But you can expect it to be mostly pacific flying.

Let more guessing games begin. My guess is, official release of the A35K layout, and a MAX 8 order to take care of the 320/738 in the future.

The last thing I saw (and note we haven't rolled the true seat plan out yet) was 54 D1 suites. These will be the new Thompson seats. Much better than what we have now in the -900.
I can't recall the mix of premium select and comfort + or economy. Those numbers were moving around. It will have more premium seating capacity than the -900. We have options for 20 more and I'm fairly confident we are going to exercise some if not all of those options. So potentially we'll have 40 of the 350-1000s out there. You guys should be happy about that. Airbus got it right on the -1000 (for once).

Mostly TPAC, and should have more than an hour more range than the -900 with more pax and more cargo, 17.5hrs or so without much issue from what it looks like, a lot more Fuel, and takeoff weight to play with.

Two months ago in January we ordered 16 339 + 15 359, and added 20 Airbus WB options. It was also noted, of the 31 WB order, 10 were options exercised from the 35K order the year prior. So that leaves 10 unexcercised options from the 35K order + the new additonal 20 options. So as of today we have 30 unspecified WB options with Airbus. Could it mean we end up with more 35Ks? Sure. But we could also excercise all 30 on more 339s & 359s. Happy to hear speculation and rumors, but I thought it would be good to establish the official order info.

Nothing is thin in the 350 route structure, especially the 35K. Yes it has better range than the 359, which does have issues on 16 hour flights. I'd expect initially it will be more capacity on routes that need the lift like JNB, MEL, SYD and ATL-ICN, ATL-PVG. That will free up a few 359s for SLC-ICN or some 339 city pairs that are PO. As the fleet grows, there will be opportunities for more 16 hour destinations. Yes it could be used to sell more seats in slot controlled airports like LHR.

JFK-ICN
LAX-ICN
LAX-MNL
SEA-SIN (LAX would more likely be A350-1000)

Don't know if ATL-PVG would happen given Russian Airspace constraints. If Delta was to launch a new route to PVG it would most likely be from JFK or MSP. SLC-ICN is already an A359. Most likely A359 routes from planes freed up by A350-1000s. JNB, SYD, ATL-ICN, MEL is like 6-7 freed up frames.

I just want to clarify things. Our orginal 20 35K order came with 20 options, but they weren't for 20 more 35Ks. It was loosely negotiated as Airbus WBs, and listed on our finacials as 10 339s and 10 359s, respectively.
