MOU 25-05

You're very blatantly ignoring the elephant in the room: this isn't only affecting the company. This is a small minority of pilots negatively affecting everyone else in their categories.

so you want some morality credit? i don't get your angle. congrats you hate free money. or you are junior enough to never get it. either way quit blaming the pilots who are smart enough to figure contract loopholes out.
if the company is unhappy with how pilots are using the contract that's something they can negotiate to change. it's not our job as workforce to solve managements problems for them.

You know what will really harm union pilots? Giving concessions to the company for free for a problem that they created and continue to perpetuate and show zero inclination of changing all because you are mad about how THE COMPANY is CHOOSING to react to a situation of their OWN creation.
Are the auto accepters making it worse? Of course, but it’s not their fault, nor their problem to solve.
You not being awarded a theoretical green slip because the company hit the 23m7 button during the WS step does not mean you were “harmed.” That’s a ridiculous notion. But sure, go ahead and take the boot licker way out and blame your fellow pilots and advocate for actual concessions, that’s real smart

this is about principle. that #1 guy in my category who has had 7 23m7 trips this month is doing nothing wrong. its a contract loophole that is in delta's best interest to close.
they've already started covering open time trips earlier which in the long run is helping the pilot group. you guys brow beating the farmers isn't going to solve anything. this will be solved at the negotiating table...we have the leverage and some of you are tearing down your own union members.

Which is completely beside the point because the company created this problem, continues to perpetuate the problem, has shown almost no inclination toward changing the problem, and are the ones who created and control literally all of the processes used in this scenario.
