They choose to invoke 23M7 and go to IA
They choose a route that costs them 3x to cover a trip
They signed an MOU that can cost 4x to cover a trip
So yeah, really smart to continue to give us leverage going into Section 6… Give me a break

What point are you trying to make? I’ve never said that management intentionally gave us leverage. They accidentally gave us leverage by cramming ARCOS down our throats, agreeing to new language that included batch sizes, auto-accept, and auto-ack, and then subsequently launching an attack against batch sizes.

Management has blundered and provided us with plenty of unplanned additional leverage going into section 6. None of it is a masterful move on their part.
They will do everything they can to take that leverage back, inexpensively, especially before section 6 opens.

In todays episode of "Crew Scheduling does this to themselves"
NYC L112 today.
1640 report
Pilot calls out sick this morning
They have it soaking for SLV. Reports in just over an hour.
GS? Nope. IA calls? None yet. Wondering how they will do this one.
This was well within 18 hours with ZERO short calls on call that window. This should have started coverage the second it hit open time.
Nah, lets SS soak it.
