Because we're not allowed to park motorcycles in Lot 22 at JFK. Not kidding.

I’m with you on most of those points, but #1 should mirror American’s policy (no backup required, period). We shouldn’t be seeking less than AA’s status quo.
We should be asking for nothing less than what American has for commuting policy in our PWA. The company can put whatever rubbish they want in the FOM. Unless regulatory, we work under the PWA. |

That’s a long urban traffic bike ride from NJ to JFK, but I hear the Leferts Blvd Airtrain station has a free motorcycle lot. Step 1 Increase your insurance, step 2 hide an air tag, step 3 add a disc lock.
None of them are easily replaced either. 1982 Honda CX500 Turbo with 9400 miles 1970 Norton (I wanna see thieves deal with the right side shifter) 1972 Suzuki GT380J (2 stroke triple) 2003 Triumph Bonneville that's heavily modified (but appears stock) I'll just drive my F-250 to JFK/LGA and maybe take the Triumph if there's a EWR day turn. Not running but will be eventually. Currently sitting in my moms garage in FL, a 1975 Suzuki RE5. 500cc Wankel Rotary. Think Mazda RX in bike form. Dad bought it and never had a chance to restore before he died. |

We operate flights, not conduct missions. |

The March bid period doesn’t start for three more days though (March 2nd).
The only way scheduling could legally offer the trips as QS is if they already exhausted all previous steps (including GS), which is highly unlikely this far in advance. 23M7 cannot be used more than 8 hours in advance. Additionally, offering any trip in the March bid period wouldn’t be legal today either. Something is fishy if what the poster said is true. |
Just a heads up, in true Delta IT fashion, the QS/assign pay programming has zeroed out many people's previously earned assign pay on timecards, and completely removed previous IA trips from the timecard.
Check yours, send a Dart, pay inquiry, email RG directly, we need to flood them with this crap if they're really going to try to keep claiming pay corrections are low. Top priorities for c26 should include penalties for pay errors found by pilots. Theoretically that shouldn't take any negotiating capital unless the company wants to admit they are saving $x,xxx, xxx from wage theft. I feel bad for the new hires or even some seasoned pilots who don't know what to look for and will never recover their hard earned money. |

You try and steal money from me and mine it needs to punitive. Quintuple pay at the least. It doesn’t matter whether it’s malice or incompetence, it’s still theft. I’ve had years with over 10k in recovered pay that they would have just pocketed if I hadn’t fought it. |

Guess I have nothing to worry about since I’ve never actually gotten an IA. There is one advantage to being screwed by 23.M.7.
