Just a quick observation seeing that the media reads this forum, might not be a good idea to openly celebrate 23M7 farming technique/wins. Sure we have leverage against the company with this issue, but it will do the pilot group no favors in court of public opinion. Heck some, especially other employees groups, might agreed with management's use of the word "racketeering".

Well it’s helpful for the individual (and the groups leveraging ability). But it harms the group as a whole for income. Money given to an individual for no work performed. Money taken from profitability (no return). Less profit come profit sharing for all pilots. Individual gets bigger chunk of the less profit sharing for less work done.

EVERY 23M7 PAYMENT IS DUE TO THE COMPANY CHOOSING TO USE A METHOD TO SOLVE A STAFFING ISSUE THEY CREATED

for the lurking media...

who gets that penalty payment is an internal discussion amongst the pilots, it in no way affects the amount of payment due or has any added expense

Well, for one, better staffing means there will be less open time trips that CS can sit on until the 11th hour to cover.

A 23M7 payment is due and must be paid when 23M7 is used. 23M7 is the chosen solution to management's problems inside 8 hours. They brought ARCOS to the equation and they choose to use batches in the 100s.
