This question isn't meant to be answered. But I am freaking out about what's about to happen to the world economy and to the ME?
What happens if it goes to hell this summer? We pause negotiations until the new normal normalizes? What's the procedure for when black swans happen right in the middle of negotiations? Is that what happened in covid? I wasn't here yet.

I have been told by some close sources on the ALPA side that the company offer is a very good deal, but the deliberation and question is among most rep if the company’s offer is close to a deal that matches the circumstance.

Very interesting times indeed.

I think the real question will be, what's the concession and do we think they will honor the deal long term as intended. The deal will have to be good just to get to MEMRAT. The language rewrite will need time for real scrutiny and there is no way I vote for a rushed timeline deal. This going back after the fact and reinterpreting is the threat. We can agree to anything now but will it hold?

my rep say there is no good “company offer,” and there is no deal imminent or even likely.

can you please be a little more specific about your “sources,” which indicate multiple individuals that appear to be at odds with my rep? I’d like to know which has the better info.

I've seen several posts across the Internet in the last few weeks that either give explicit details our negotiators and reps would never release to anyone or, as the poster you quoted did, seemed to be an attempt to stir up the pilot group to put pressure on their reps to accept a bad deal.

This is the most publicly unified MEC I've seen in a long time. The best example of this is that the accelerated timeline was a complete surprise to everyone. Any specific details seem to be company leaks and them floating bad terms to get us to negotiate in public or pressure our reps. I think the best course of action is to "wind the clock" and wait for communications from our negotiators, reps, or MEC

My rep said the NC isnt leaking or talking but theyre enjoying the company leaking.

I do agree with a previous poster that the summer is gone. Im not taking the blame or the time off to save anything for them.

This is what the super geniuses wanted. Let 'em eat it.

Lol I don't buy this for one second. It sounds like Gumm recently read The Art of the Deal to help him learn how to run a business.

When were you told this, for reference?

I think you're right. I know for sure of one ACP who was sharing the details of the 2.5 year deal that we've all seen. Makes sense that they gave it to them to disseminate.
