Don't forget, sometime the test isn't about the test, it's about your reaction to the test, that is the test. Yelling about what a stupid test it is, is a sure way to flunk the test.

Sometimes you have to be just a little bit smarter than the test.

That's the test.

I'm not saying lie on the test, you can't win that, because there are so many similar questions, worded just a little bit differently, but you have to understand where you are and what job you are applying for, and answer accordingly.

The answer is:

"No, I do NOT like to go to parties, drink too much, and act like a jackass."

I think your kick ass social life may have put you out.

Actually, often times now they let someone retake the test, telling them how to answer differently so it scores better the second time.

"You're too happy, don't answer so happy" seems to be common.

4 of 8 in our interview group had to retest...2 hours I will never get back. All of us passed the second time. I admitted to being afraid of spiders and playing with dolls...lol.

I know I'll get slammed for this, but most mil/civ psych guys I've encountered have been one step removed from witch doctors.

I've flown with more than a couple of guys over the years that appear to have slipped through the process, i.e., more than a few standard deviations outside the norm.

Not to mention the fact that one of our pysch's who was vetting us actually killed himself... so there you have it.

At Delta Air Lines, we like to call em "BLACK WIDOWS and GI-JOES!" Correct answer is affirmative. Cheers h

Well congrats Timbo, yesterday I suggested that a person who thinks they have a "kick ass social life" would probably have an issue with the test, but apparently I was too controversial and my post was pulled.

Dolls. Is that the old fashion word for hot chicks or toy dolls... or blow up dolls? What kind of dolls???

This is going to make me go freaking crazy.

FTB...Chill!!! You're already hired....

.now you need to prep for the follow up exam to comply with new rules coming after this week's SBP.....now you're gonna have to prove without a doubt that you're not bonkers!

Good luck with that!

Does anyone have any updates? I'm at a month now and still no words. Has anyone who got the shrink-hold email over the last 4-5 weeks heard anything?
