Current TA January 2013:
12yr FO 7ER = $145.63
12yr FO A320 = $134.76

So these wages are between 43% & 50% more than the NWA bk rates which is more than I had expected. I don't have the pay tables for prior to bk at NWA or DAL so I don't really know what they look like in relation to those figures. I just can't believe that the bk rates were that bad. I just guess my mind doesn't want to remember those days.
Here they are. (I believe they include a 3% retirement plan contribution.)

Invalid. if this POS is passed, rotations will look completely different than they do now.
The optimizer parameters will be reset to reflect the new contract.

Yes, current 3 day trips with an allnighter attached at the end will be worth 13:30 instead of 11 hours. That is an improvement for many 737 and 767 pilots.

I don't think you get it. Sure, if the rotations are the same as they are now, what you state would be true.

But the rotations will not look like they do now.

Did humans negotiate this TA?
Most staffing formulas at most airlines mean nothing. At Delta, we wanted a real backstop that provided real protections. An airline is a complicated system so, yes, the formula is complicated. The last time Delta went below the staffing formula, each pilot got a $1,000 check as a settlement and they had to hire to fill in the requirements. That was in 2007.
