Does AK only get 8 x days on reserve ? Just asking.
"reserve pilot will receive at least two 2 day periods in a row, one row of 3 days, and one group of five days in a row off during the calendar month of reserve." 2+2+3+5=12 |

What do you mean by 8 x days on reserve?
80 would have still been better off with the AK contract. If first class is full they need to give you an emergency exit row. I don't know where 80 was coming from but if he was DHing a leg or multi leg adding up to 5 hours it is a mandatory (not just is available) first class seat. Alaska pilots also are provided crew meals on every flight (short or long). Just remember, Delta pilots have an industry leading contract and getting better. Just ask DALPA. One other note, AK pilots will never fly reserves up to 99 hours.....unless they merge with Delta and DALPA tells the company we don't need to retain all the good found in their contract. Just a funny (to someone watching the little guy get squished by the window) story. :) Agreed on the soft pay that we completely missed on the TA, though. |

Even if 80 had been on AK he would have been in the back, the caveat seats available in first would have doomed him to coach. Does AK only get 8 x days on reserve ? Just asking.
We again really missed the boat on the min day on this TA. |

I think this has a good chance to be the EFB at DAL.

I've heard there are some SSI issues. We'll see if the security section of the FOM shows up in this first iteration of electronic onboard manuals. Someone along the lines told me the hold up with Apple was its ability to give app developers remote access to on-device content. And since Delta probably doesn't want to design their own app...
