Is it gone for good or will it be moved to another city?

Wonder how that would compare to a 2001 hire at DAL in the 737, even post TA?

That's because SWA's management fuel hedged at the best time possible allowing them to rake in billions when our company was bleeding red ink. Former DAL CFO Michele Burn's quote: "Well we all knew fuel was going down to $28 per barrel." Dumb B ! We are finally approaching a more even playing field and the Darlings of the industry are now starting to feel our pinch.

The term used was "suspended".

But is HKG going away entirely or will we serve it from another city?

It seems like we're "suspending" an awful lot of routes at the end of summer.

ATH flight is axed aswell ... Qatar will be swooping in and doing DOH-ATH-JFK now. What was DL thinking in stopping a route that is a Monopoly??

There's no money in monopolies.

There's also no money in flying. There is, however, plenty of money in perpetually reducing flying.

I believe hkg loads hasnt been too stellar this season thus far, and dtw-hkg is just a relief from the loads that needs to get across transcon b4 they cross the pond from east coast. Chances are that they see little benefits in utilizing a 77L in flying this mission, but rather put it bk to someplace else, or do it the true Delta way, park it in ATL till further notice:)

My house was worth more a half decade ago too. Demanding something that is not the current asking price for your peers is wishful thinking at best. Ask the NMB. I like your style, though. It's just not logical.

I think there is a daily flight from NRT. Rome to NYC was also axed for the Winter, and Unical did the same from EWR.
