Don't know about 330 or 777 but 747 A & B both have lots of extras in category . Some days up to 40 guys on res for 3 departures . Think they will just let the early out thin things down to normal.

What a crock! How ignorant to just simply place the blame on SkyWest. They do in fact have a pretty thorough screening process. But of course nobody screens them better than mighty Delta. :rolleyes:

As for the DC-3 thing, the County Code Enforcement Officer apparently lied and as far as I know any and all charges where dropped. He was doing an engine run and compass swing. He asked her to move back, she did, so he taxied his airplane to where it needed to be parked.

Her story was "her tried to run over me with an airplane." As you surely would understand, no one would want to wreck their restored classic aircraft into a vehicle.

The locals had been trying to run "large" airplanes off the airport since someone crashed the DC4 and blew the Piggly Wiggly to smithereens. The City had allowed building within the runway clear zone and when they failed to shut down the entire airport they went after the operators of "big" airplanes as a safety hazard.

For once I agree with Joe. Wow. Bucking Bar, as a former Skywest employee I completely disagree with laying blame on the company. ONE guy of thousands of employees went nuts. If you were CEO how would you find that needle in a haystack? Would you require all employees to self disclose every breakup, divorce, financial problem, or any other stressful event? How could you as CEO monitor every employee? As a pilot would you like your employer to force you to have mental screening at each sim ride? Your post wreaks of the immature drivel written in the closed Skywest thread on the regional board. Your better than this Bar. I've seen shining examples of well thought out posts. This was not one of them.
