Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I don't believe that Chairman Elect Kingsley has any and O-Malleys name is all over negotiations documents for the last 6-7 years. Their both long-time volunteers but with much different pasts as far as I can tell?

That's why we have a negotiating committee. The Chairman always signs on PWA, LOA's, etc. That does not mean he is a negotiator, nor needs to be to be qualified for the job. I don't believe Moak was a negotiator either. This is a minor shift in MEC leadership. The real seat of power is in the LEC's of which 30% are up for elections in any year. Change is the norm. The Chairman is (supposed to be) more like Speaker of the House, not El Jefe.
