Whitlow does not apply to DH unless prior to a flight. As for post flight with no FAR defined flying you can go non-stop. Was on duty one time for 36 hrs at the end of a DH. There is no real FAR limit to that, only PWA.

Didn't know that. Maybe 80 should have called in too fatigued to be shoved between two fat paying pax!

I've seen this before but can't remember where...

Oh yeah, now I remember. There is a nearly naked woman at the top there with some weird dogs, and a big fat marshmallow man coming down the road.

NYC was ugly yesterday. We've got crews scattered in hotels you've never heard of. Golden Touch was an hour late picking us up after we were an hour late....and my first room at the downtown hotel had two old Italians in it. I got another one.;)

Which is why my phone rang at 0130 this morning on an x day with an inverse assignment.

Me: "Hello?" (I'm a little tired - been sleeping late in the day after an early morning turn)
Scheduling: "Hi, Elvis, this is Pat in scheduling."
Me: "Howdy."
Scheduling: "Elvis, I see you acknowledged your 6th short call tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM, but it's coming up as illegal."
Me: "Illegal?" (as I'm yawning inadvertently)
Scheduling: "Yes, so we're just gonna switch that to 10 AM, alright?"
Me: "OK"
Scheduling: "I'll show you acknowledged!"

Should have bid the ER in NY. If you're commuting you should commute to a better lifestyle. I sat as the plug on the 88 in ATL for a bit. It sucks!! Way more gentlemanly sitting reserve of the ER. A lot less legs!!

What about 24-hour short call? Isn't 12-hour short call preferable domestically?

I'm not sure why this is so funny, but I sat here laughing for a good couple of minutes, imagining driving to the employee lot in DTW, through downtown Detroit no less, with these things trailing my suv. To be honest, the folks in downtown Detroit probably wouldn't even look twice.

I have a pretty good opportunity to be a FNG when Delta hires.
I am aware that New hire Pilots have housing paid for during the first 2 weeks of indoc and then you are on your own.

Can anyone give me details of what they have done?
Hotel, Crashpad, RV,
How long is the training footprint?

Trying to plan ahead of time and start saving $ towards this time so thats one lest thing to worry about.

Thanks
