Read the memo on DLNET. We're still waiting for the network guys and the MBAs to decide which way we'll go for next summer before we really start to do anything. I think this bid is positive with 86 more openings than displacements and while I don't want to put too much sunshine on your doom and gloom parade, WB A positions generate the most training events and as folks move up they'll have to replace some of them. The largest category to lose folks to the RMA was the 7ERA and they didn't take the opportunity to further shrink the ATL 767 category. For all of your ulcers' sakes, lighten up! Didn't they also announce a further 5% capacity reduction? One month out of 12 is acceptable to award a ton of GS's. This is likely to be the new norm with being able to staff for winter and flex in summer. |

I have never used the bank before. I dropped a reserve day in July and was wondering if it's too late to use the bank to get full pay for July and if so how do I do it? No luck trying to figure it out on my own.

Speaking of capacity reductions - If Delta says they are reducing capacity 5% without any further amplification, the cuts could come from anywhere. It could be all DCI, could be Pacific, Atlantic, Domestic mainline, or a combination of all. So just saying DAL will reduce 5% without the specifics really does not tell you much. Scoop |
