Speaking of capacity reductions - If Delta says they are reducing capacity 5% without any further amplification, the cuts could come from anywhere.
It could be all DCI, could be Pacific, Atlantic, Domestic mainline, or a combination of all. So just saying DAL will reduce 5% without the specifics really does not tell you much. Scoop Also what us the guidance on the North Atlantic? What have you seen in the schedule loads for Europe as well? |

True but 5% would be huge for DCI.
Also what us the guidance on the North Atlantic? What have you seen in the schedule loads for Europe as well? We are down YOY overall. Yes, DCI is going to get hit hard. But, they are currently so short staffed that they may not notice much pain. Over the summer they've been blocking out to the FAR max . Just read that California municipals are setting up 40 year no pay, interest accumulating debts. A 40 year balloon payment of over a Billion dollars to finance 100 million now. Ironically the teachers that shape our children, the cops that Police our streets and the Firemen that protect our homes are going to be what destroy our nation, as it is impossible to pay them the retirement and benefits spineless politicians have promised. Not sure when California slides into the economic ocean, but it is inevitable. As the State gets in trouble it will push it's problems to the local jurisdictions which will fold like a house of cards. Welcome to the new Third World, the only advice I can give is, buy a truck. Cars are all but useless when the government can no longer maintain the roads. |

Man, we've been furloughed, the airline has shrunk itself out of the market, and now we're going to be a third world country?

Did someone say something about the country going down the tubes and needing a big truck?

if I am frozen on equipment until mid September, does that mean no chance of anything on this AE Bid or I may get something if training starts after my freeze date?
