Hilarious. He got to the ramp and terminal 3 in record time.

Why couldn't he have walked to a gate and said "Hey, I was US Air 1549 and missed my connection" !?

Anyone else think if we merge with American the rest of our careers are basically ... somewhere between stagnant and non existent? TWA'ers might even get a re-do.

Doubt it's something we would take on fully...Only a part which would be tolerable...they have a fairly high rate of attrition on the horizon too.

Yes, T-4 Project: DAL will never set foot in T-4. You heard it here first (I suspect YOU'VE already heard it elsewhere:)). We will end up in T-8 and the current occupant will take over T-5 and our gates in T-4.:D

Lets say you are the first that posted that here.

Hows that connector between T2 and T4 going?

Remember when I said T4 looked like half a master project......

Time will tell of course.

Well, maybe.

I heard a rumor that they aren't building the connector bridge as originally planned between T2 and T4, and that airside buses will be used indefinitely. I guess if AA were to take over T4 and T5, they wouldn't need the bridge now, would they?

No you are thinking.

Oh yeah, I've spent Waaay too much time on the shuttle between T-3 and T-4. I HOPE this rumor is true!!!

Our customers HATE the confusion and P!ss poor shuttle operation between 3 & 4. There are no signs at 2 or 3 check in areas alerting customers that thier flight will depart 4, after they check in the are left wandering around 2 and 3 looking for a gate that doesn't exist. Some moron in IT for the mobile Delta App lists departures for gates B20, B22, 24,...ect....there is NO FREAKING B Terminal....this just adds to the confusion. THEN, when our customers finally figure out where they need to be, they get to the shuttle area that only run every 20 min., are greeted by rude gate agents and given little to no information. I'd be curious to know the $$ amount attributed to mis-connects as a result of us "winning in NY".

Rant over.

Ya know, there are not under airport issues from that terminal you discussed and a train from somewhere off property either.......

Heard it in reverse: we're going to extend into T5. Go figure.

We could but only if AMR was in a position to buy all of B6 and move them.

So... the MD88/MD90 cockpit upgrades are on hold?

On hold for testing via that CVG CPO letter about 1 aircraft being reconfigured or just on hold altogether?

Heard they were on hold about a month ago. Wonder if those 717's in part will replace some of those.

I still think it's US Airways and American.
