Absolutely! I did a four-day trip last week that every layover destination had KCM. It was great.

FLL doesn't have it and I had to take my new shoes off at the metal detector(epic fail for not getting detector friendly shoes), so everyone got to see my pink breast cancer awareness socks.

If Dave Nestor won, he did so on the strength of his platform against considerable odds. His explanation of how he would evaluate matters before him provided the greatest detail I've seen any candidate provide. Further, the platform is objective and rational.Armando Gomez is a good Representative and I can see all these guys making up an outstanding team. I am very pleased with the Representatives selected by Council 44.

Congratulations to everyone who participated and thanks to our current Chairman for his service.

Hey Buck.

Thanks for the support. I was much more interested in the turnout than actually winning. 28% of the base voted, so in that respect I failed. I failed to convince people to exercise their voice in their union. Failing that, I certainly cannot convince an MEC body to see things my way.

On the positive side of things, I am proud to say that I did not engage in behavior which I later might have regretted. I left the weed eaters right there in the weeds. The day before the election closed, ironically, we finally got a letter from our leadership which pretty much mirrored my campaign. ;)

One doesn't have to be the guy in charge, to lead.

C44 has spoken. I respect their decision, and congratulate the victors. I have a feeling this will be a very challenging term.

This guy got on an international flight with all that stuff. That isn't very reassuring.

Mongo died this morning.
Great football player, actor and fellow alumnus of Brakechatter and Check Essential's beloved University of Iowa.

Brake, you gave the pilot of 44 opinions and ideas. There is nothing wrong with this. As you said, you do not need to "win" to win. Framing the debate is key.
I agree with the bolded part. Lots of very big challenges and treats are right over the horizon. We need all pilots to double down and reengage in the process, and their union.

Guys and Gals, take the time and show up to your LEC meeting, write your reps, and get on the horn with em. Make it clear what you want from your union and your career. APC is a great outlet, but use the outlet that is the rubber that meets the road as well.

Mongo no longer pawn in game of life.... Hopefully at peace now, as the last several years of his life were marked by severe dementia and other health problems.
