The current C20 rep just elected EVP is a very sharp and capable individual. The EVP running for C20 Chair has done a lot of good work and both as EVP and as a LEC rep previously.
I suppose you are still fighting over the Roberts award and targeting  And for what it's worth targeting wasn't really on my mind, but you just jogged my memory about some of BB's work. |

I don't know the current FO rep very well, but I do know the current EVP. His campaign letter talked about entrenched ALPA bureaucracy and he's been on FPL for years. Is he serious?
And for what it's worth targeting wasn't really on my mind, but you just jogged my memory about some of BB's work. Reference targeting that was the work primarily of the R&I committee of which BB was not part, approved by the MEC at the time unanimously, R and G alike, and reaffirmed in the BK TA passage. If he has the powers of ALPA mind control attributed to him I would elect him as a Rep without question  Have you ever met a Rep or ALPA volunteer you like or do you just dislike everyone who volunteers their time to improve our pay, benefits, and working conditions? |
He said we would swap ORD gates for LAX gates.
In addition to the new south runway, they are adding a "victor loop". |

Got an e-mail from C20. Current C20 FO rep was elected as the DALPA EVP. The current EVP is running for C20 Chairman. More of the same.
Its apathy from the pilot group to blame for the lack of "new blood". |

Between DL and UA, the CVG-NYC market is more than saturated in frequency and capacity. All this will do is ignite a fare war on a few routes and either DL will yield to JB or JB will pull out in a year or two after their local government fun money runs out. If they go west out of CVG (LGB/SFO/SEA/SLC) that will instantly trash yields and result in either an unsustainable fare war or someone having to pull out. I actually hope they do it though. DL needs to be tested directly, and if DL's stratedgy is to cut and run and gift capacity to whoever wants it, the employees and shareholders need to understand that is their clear vision of the future. Likewise, if DL intends to fight when necessary then that message (desperately) needs to get out as well. Either way we'll know where we stand, and either way another dellusional local airport kingdom will lose more than they gain in the long run. Who knows though, maybe they can get some sweet stimulus money for a 5th runway just in time for the pullout. :D |
