I'm sure this question has been asked many times before, but do we have to wait until the first PCS run to start using the swap board?

That ought to be a fun taxi.

Shot in the dark here... but as I was surprised by the 737-900 order, might they not order the 767-400? The production line is still open...

I think it would be closer than going to 28. Just a guess, but it looks to me like there is room for another runway between 27L and 28. It would be a huge project, but not really any bigger than building 10/28 was.

After geekin' out on google earth for a few minutes... If they build a launch runway north of 10/28 (call it 28R), with the centerlines 1050' feet apart like the 27's, there is room for another runway and parallel taxiway without getting into the south cargo area. The Sheraton would have to go.

Looks like more people are willing to bet DL will continue to gift them capacity.

Between DL and UA, the CVG-NYC market is more than saturated in frequency and capacity. All this will do is ignite a fare war on a few routes and either DL will yield to JB or JB will pull out in a year or two after their local government fun money runs out.

If they go west out of CVG (LGB/SFO/SEA/SLC) that will instantly trash yields and result in either an unsustainable fare war or someone having to pull out.

I actually hope they do it though. DL needs to be tested directly, and if DL's stratedgy is to cut and run and gift capacity to whoever wants it, the employees and shareholders need to understand that is their clear vision of the future. Likewise, if DL intends to fight when necessary then that message (desperately) needs to get out as well. Either way we'll know where we stand, and either way another dellusional local airport kingdom will lose more than they gain in the long run. Who knows though, maybe they can get some sweet stimulus money for a 5th runway just in time for the pullout. :D

SWA starts MSP to MKE and MCO on 11/4. Think DAL will fight them on those routes?

Thanks. I'm sure some of this has indeed been lost in translation.

So, if pilot appearance has slipped, what's he going to do to the cat ranchers? I own a full uniform and wear the damned hat though I wonder why we still cling to that archaic item. Was once told it's a symbol of authority, those skycaps must really be awfully powerful.

Can someone paste the new payscales until 2015, i've searched for an hour through threads but have given up.
