I don't fear stalling at altitude, systems that don't work, altitude deviations, hydraulic failures, questionable control authority, engines that go "Ka Boom" and limitations despite the presence of blue lights. Searching for poles and ladders while covered in hydraulic, deicing fluid and other Class 1 carcinogens isn't t_h_a_t unhealthy. I mean my grandma dipped snuff and lived to 93, right? Fifteen years in the right seat is not a commentary on the success of your career. I will not jump when things go BUMP ...

It will be an interesting snapshot to take...in 2022 when you've reached 15 years!

I'm thinking you'll be in the left seat of a Douglas jet.

Vote how you want, but remember the country comes first even if that means some sacred cows (military for me) will have to be slaughtered. We simply cannot continue down this road of spend, spend spend. If we do, there won't be any need for any of us in the Transportation industry.

Passenger walks into the cockpit of the MD-88 to see what it looks like, Bar looks up...

Bar, the best part of the 88 is going to GDL to do a FCF.

That said Bar, I don't think you'll get moved. At least I hope you don't, after all, you're senior to me. :D

Bucking Bar 10-11-2012 08:27 AM

That's me trying to remember, was it 396 + or - 8, or 400 + or -10; 113 + or -3, or 400 + or - 4 ... ?

Ah heck, the light's the right color. :)

Who said you could not test both autopilots at the same time?

Isn't a FCF a Functional Check Flight? If so, how?

I mean, do you take one out of three and figure, ah heck, well, the light's the right color?

And when I say "yours", I'm talking about this... right here..."
