You'd want to go for 9999. :) That's the #1 in class. In classes up through August 07 they had 0000 be number 1... then realized they misread it. How? I don't know. The story was that one of the newhires caused a fuss about it. If that's true, that took some brass balls on their part.

If what I was told was true, that pilot was a former distinguished go jetsssssss pilot.....

Bummer:mad:

I might be late to the party, but I just noticed PPO-A is not being offered this year. I knew it was too good to last.

What to do now, advice please. Family with kids, some medical costs.

Is it just PLOA, or can the furlough bypass come back to yet...thought they had to wait for newhire class?

Mil leave can come back at any time. Not sure about PLOA, but the furlough bypass has to wait for hiring.

The suit must have been between 01 and 07, because all the classes in 07 were SSN from the get go (even though in august the order was reversed due to a misinterpretation of "highest to lowest.")

Most of the people got some money out of it after the reordering of the classes that had previously run, but I didn't get any since my class just rotated around me. :)

It is in the contract how to assign seniority numbers.

Anyone have a handy break down of North / South currently on furlough bypass?

Yep... And as has been confirmed, that changed from bday to ssn sometime in 2001. Your class, my class, and all those through Aug 07 had the order messed up and was corrected.

I heard it was a gojets guy that made the noise about it as well.

Hope they learned something.

Yep... Sailing got it very wrong. His jetblue capt friend will have to wait until recall notices go out just in advance to hiring.

It's my understanding that this will be the last chance to come back for the bypass people. Amirite?
