I thought it was Hamilton Standard Company - maker of fine Chinese propellers for 80 years.

The last true gun fighter was the f-8. Everything that has followed has been a platform for a radar and a weapons system.

Do you have an exact number of how many mainline jobs have been created in the last 8 months? (Not counting USAir)

On my count, since the swap was announced we've dropped from 12300 pilots to around 11960ish. So, yes... that many!

It's not like they shot down many Germans with them.

I'm sure history will show that the last great gunfighter was Alex Rogan. In just one mission he took out Zur and the Ko Dan Armada.

Sailing, that's the antithesis of what ALPA told us as we were being sold the TA. I don't have the product in front of me, but we were sent a fancy hiring comparison about a month before the vote. From what I remember the estimated difference in required hiring between TA and no TA (independent of the economy) was about two thousand jobs.

Take away his kneeboard/tape deck and Doug Masters is just another punk regional pilot.

If he had to sit on his hands he couldn't say a word.

I see this airplane as no viable threat. The holes in the back where the air goes out... covered up. So it can't move. And even if it could, the windows are all covered up.

Not a threat.

I think the stupid part was some not recognizing that this TA captured more Delta system flying for the mainline.

The company's SEC filing shows significant mainline growth through 2015, as the mainline grows from 730 to 796 aircraft.

I don't think anyone predicted immediate mainline growth, particularly since the new mainline 100 seater was going to arrive until the second half of 2013.

I'm looking forward to the maiine growth this improved scope will bring the mainline.

Nah, you should be looking forward to 70 more...

Question: How many Q400s has Delta ordered since the aircraft went into service 12 years ago?
Answer: 0. even after wasting billions on DCI they still didn't order any of them.
