You guys just need an extra challenge every time you fly. With great skills come spectacular malfunctions.

I hear there is a widebody order coming up and it may be Airbus.

Looks like one is already flying!

How to rescue a misplaced RC plane in a truly epic manner.

Default Crew Runner from Kew Gardens

Does anyone know the Crew Runner schedule from Kew Gardens to JFK or LGA (during regular ops)?

Heard there is a reference in the PWA that it is NOT exclusively for FAs but could not find anything.

Any pilots have good/bad experiences if it is for the sole use of FAs?

(This is all assuming my crashpad is still there.)

Go to the IFS page of Deltanet. Scroll down and click the NYC link. Crew Runner schedule is on the left. Never taken it but don't plan on a guaranteed ride. Flight attendants get priority so if it fills up, you're hosed. Plus, technically pilots aren't allowed to ride. Depends on the driver. Q Runner is most convenient, costs $7 and runs every 30 minutes from Metro and Lefferts.

Default Contract question

Is anyone out there familiar with minimum line guarantee?

I'm stuck in AMS now (I know, woe is me), with a 48 hour layover that's become a 98 hour layover. My original trip was due back before the end of the month, but the reroute is a transition trip.

My original monthly projection was 67 hours. Now, since the new trip pays mostly next month, my projection is 56 hours. I haven't modified my line from what I was initially awarded. Does the line guarantee of 65 hours apply here? The way I read it, the answer seems to be yes, but a second opinion is always nice...

Thanks. (I don't want to make a call to ALPA; they've got more important things to do right now.)
