this time last year it was alot if we flew 40 hours on the -9, so much for this "overstaffing" phenomenon :eek: |

I like it this way. He stays focused on whats going on, manages, and keeps his eyes outside while taxiing.

On the MD-88, usually the CA is verifying the clerance, flightplan, fuel ... etc. If that's done, then they flirt with the FAs and/or the paxs as they load.

After day one, my position is that the system/philosophy makes no sense. I won't even get into not calling for flaps before taxi out, but I predict that that will change. But, the good news from today is that we have REAL COCA COLA ON BOARD!!!! (Yes!!!) :D |
