Oh well, four more years of the unfinished hope and change. This was the first time I voted for a Republican since Bush senior in 92.

I think this is exactly what we're going to see. The problem is that we aren't un-meddling the horrible financial situation of the government. I'm intrigued to see what the final popular vote will be. I'm also intrigued as to what this does to DL's plans. |

I believe what I typed was pretty clear...you don't have to "hear" anything.
1. We would not have gotten the B717's. Management had a plan B. 2. A significant percentage of the 50 seaters would have remained in the fleet (and not forever...sheesh). Management had a plan B. There is no way that they wouldn't have gotten the 717s. RA confirmed very recently that he does not like the CASM of the A319.. in fact went on a good little ramble on how bad it is and how we're going to put more seats in them to try to make their margins better. United has newhire classes starting later this month, too... |

I've noticed this too. In my category we hardly have anyone on long call anymore. Called ALPA and they said they're "looking into it". The sucky thing is they can give you your 6 short calls to start the month off and you're still a long way out from being in the second bucket so then you get trips the rest of the month. Or vice versa. Not that I don't love commuting to short call.

Sat one 24 hr SC in OCT. You're on the wrong category man. You'll never get to fly with TSquare.
Word to wise. Just when you think you got a good gig going. They will start giving SC way over the amount needed and then you will be calling ALPA asking whats up with this. |

United is not in our competitive set...Unless they have a worse contract than us. |

We need to be careful on the political commentary- everyone has done a good job so far tonight.

The truck driving comment was very politically charged.
